# 2. Retrieve Episode Products

Once a tracking session is active, the app can retrieve the episode meta data and available products for the episode.

Custom Asset ID
The `episodeId` parameter can be a custom asset ID defined by the streaming platform in the jay curator. The Playout-API will resolve the custom asset ID to the internal episode ID.
